I just hit a new high in piney.

A few days ago, I found out that my favourite fruit juice stall in Singapore sells the bestest handmade mouth watering deliciously lusciously moist pineys!! Isn’t it amazing sometimes when you just walk past a stall & you instantly bond with the food there? Of course, there are times of misjudgements too when the food pictures look tempting but taste 180degrees different but this, my friend, spoke to me. I concluded since their fruit juices are so damn awesome, their CNY goodies can’t be that bad either. A pat on the back for me for trying.

They were so heavenly divine that I wolfed down half a container under 2 minutes. No need to really picture that unglamourous scene, but just know that they’re really that extraordinary. You could ask Angel S, she’d swear that I was in piney heaven no doubt.

Because they’re so damn soft & buttery (I LOVE butter!), they’re a little messier to eat, just come crumbling down if you hold a little tighter. But looking glamourous while popping these darlings isn’t my biggest priority here. I thought I was sniffling a baby’s butt, they are incredibly soft, milky, fragrant, fresh & this part’s not like a baby’s butt- the pineapple jam a PERFECT light golden filling which slowly disintegrates when savoured. My goodness! I want them for breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner & supper! I really mean it, I could survive on these pineys the whole day, if not given their expensive price tag.

It’s a good idea to eat them with a spoon, not fork if not the whole thing will become a piney crumble. There’s bound to be some crust flakes, so scoop them up with your spoon, you won’t want to waste these joys.

Now, I’m going to plan strategically; how many to buy at a time & the number of visits to the stall so I can have enough to eat on a daily basis & still have a good portion left for CNY.

Softness: 5/5
