80% Snail Extract Reduces Acne Marks

December 19, 2011

Escargot lovers, how about some snails on your face?

Because older skin doesn’t heal as quickly, you’re more susceptible to acne  scarring (especially if you’re on birth control). & since I recently have some marks from some intense extraction, I decided to try Elicina, the much raved about scar-fading cream. Seriously, snails? This is too bizarre to not try.

Day & night, I apply Elicina Plus Cream (UP$49) religiously with skeptism. I’d no idea what to expect out of a cream made of snail secretion until 4 weeks later when I decided to look at my before & after pictures:

Elicina naturally contains 5 of the most valued skin care ingredients which cosmetologists and dermatologists strive to include in the manufacture of their products:

Review: Amazingly, the marks caused by the previous deep extraction are now faded & like what the website says, ’it eradicates acne’ with its ‘anti-bacterial properties’ & regains ‘natural balance’ in an oily face.

I’m really surprised that it really helped in liberatinng the impurities from my oily skin cause so far in 4 weeks, my face has been cleared of acne (except for some tiny pimples).

& because I’m using Elicina Plus Cream, it contains the same 80% snail extract as the original Elicina cream, but with an additional 20% humectants for added hydration. The cream felt slightly rich the first week but became more easily absorbed as days go. I actually skipped my usual moisturizer/serum completely & my skin is still nourished & clarified, without clogging pores! Thumbs up!

Hello! Really quite amazed at the effects :) Anyway, the cream retails for $49? How big is the tube and approximately how long can it last? Can it be substituted for a moisturizer?

Yes dear, retails at $49. It’s 40g (: Yes! I use it as my moisturizer for night. Which works great for me cause while it peels of my dead skin cells, it hydrates my skin too. Maybe it’s due to my oily skin but no flakiness at all for me so far. In fact, I think the cream is balancing my skin so well I’m clear of acne (:

I slather a thick layer on every night & I’ve used about less than half for 4 weeks.
