All I Need Is Something Non-sweet & Glutinous

A customer shared her freshly made Gula Melaka kueh at GLOMAX Aesthetics, where I’d a morning face peel today. It was like carrot to Evon’s classically wrenching extractions.

A very soft, very springy non-sweet kueh. The texture reminded of strafed chestnut cake; extremely delicate & tender. Which was mind blowing considered it had such lovely consistency without being steamed.

It didn’t even occur to me that it didn’t have any gula melaka bursting out. Because this version was at its fullest potential already, the natural sweetness was perfect.

Besides thus lovely creation, the peel left my face so incredibly baby smooth I’m starting to touch my face! Tsk. Stop fingers stop!
